Krebs Hydrocyclones
Separating solids from industrial slurry streams is an important part of the engineering that goes into the design of a plant. From process cooling water, wash water, to chemical precipitation processes,
it is sometimes necessary to remove sediment particulates or chemical precipitation of solids as part of the process. The removal of unwanted solids will increase the life of equipment, reduce maintenance
time, and increase efficiency of the chemical process.

Hydrocyclones are engineered to remove suspended particles from slurry processes and liquids from other liquids. A cyclone uses centrifugal force to make two materials separate. The feed stream enters the cyclone and as the material spins,
the solids and liquids separate. Cyclones can be incorporated into existing processes or operated as stand alone circuits in which a separation of two materials is desired.
Hunter Equipment Company is the engineering resource to help solve the solids separation issues in your plant. We represent Krebs Hydrocyclones, known worldwide as a leader in hydrocyclone technology. Since 1952 Krebs has been in the business
of designing and implementing the hydrocylcone technology in industries such as Alumina, Pulp and Paper, Refining, Mining, Wastewater, Sugar, Recycling, and Petrochemical. The HEC team is ready to help you size the proper hydrocyclone into your
process. Give us a call to see how a hydrocyclone, engineered for your system, can help improve your process and save you maintenance time and money in your plant.

Clarkson KGF 300 psi Slurry Knife Gate Valve

Clarkson Knifegate valves are known for their performance in the toughest slurry applications, providing a 100% bubble tight shut off of a line. The mechanism
to create this seal is a stainless steel blade that slides between two elastomer sleeves. This effectively isolates the pipeline from any possibility of leakage downstream.
The KGF valve has an internal containment for atmospheric discharge when the valve is actuated. The containment will allow the process liquid to be held and drained
or flushed out after the valve is activated. The KGF is rated for continuous working pressure of 300 psi making it the ideal choice when complete line isolation at
higher process pressures is required.
Features
- 300 psi CWP Design
- 100% full port
- Double seated, bi-directional shut-off design
- Exclusive, dynamic self-adjusting sleeve design
- Positive splash containment
- Operating pressures up to 300 psi
- Temperatures to 300°F
- Manual bevel gear
- Air or hydraulic cylinder actuators
- Electric motor operators
If your process calls for a bi-directional shut-off that is 100% bubble tight, call HEC. Our friendly staff if ready to earn your business by sizing the right valve
for your particular application. Clarkson Knifegate valves are an engineered product that is meant to work in the toughest slurry isolation applications.
Call 225-929-6546 to see a demonstration of the valve at your site. We have a cut-away demo available to view. Let the HEC team and Clarkson solve your isolation valve problems.
