Customer: Gaylord Paper in Bogalusa, LA.
Duty: Log washer water solids removal

The logs are unloaded into a water flume that carries them to the de-barking equipment. The sand and grit are washed off and Krebs' cyclones remove the solids from the water so it can be reused. It also saves the debarking equipment from tremendous wear from the abrasive material brought into the plant with the raw material.
